ABOUT US
Yr Atom is the Carmarthen Town Welsh Language Centre. You are welcome to drop in for a chat, take part in an activity, hire a room for a meeting and event, or visit our tenants.
Yr Atom was officially opened in October 2015 after the University of Wales Trinity Saint David purchased the building with the support of a grant from the Welsh Government's Capital Investment Fund, to establish a Welsh Centre in Carmarthen's town centre. The University further invested and developed the building to include a café and various rooms to host social, leisure and business events for the whole community.
In partnership with the County Council, the Canolfan Dysgu Cymraeg Genedlaethol and Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr, Yr Atom works closely with the local business community, local groups and organisations to provide a program of language courses as well as a large number of leisure and social activities.

ROOMS FOR HIRE
Yr Atom has various rooms for meetings, learning and training and socialising. Free Wi-Fi is available for use throughout the centre, and refreshments can be provided through Caffi'r Atom.
